Taking Flight—From Build to Sky

In 2024, I obtained my pilot’s license while taking part in a drone-building competition—an experience that sparked a deeper interest in aviation and unmanned flight. Since then, I’ve continued exploring the field by flying a DJI drone to gain hands-on experience and experiment with aerial videography. This project page showcases the custom-built drone I worked on, along with a selection of my video footage captured from above.

Exploring the Power of Magnetism

Magnetism has long captivated my interest, beginning with a high school VWO exam project where I developed a method to charge a phone using a bicycle dynamo. That early experiment sparked a series of explorations into electromagnetic applications. Currently, I’m working on two compact-scale engineering projects: a magnetic levitation platform with induction-powered LED lighting, and an electromagnetic accelerator. Both are designed as functional desk-sized models, combining physics, design, and innovation in a hands-on format.

My first robotic hand

For some time now, I’ve been developing the first prototype of a bionic hand. The idea originated from a search for a project that could combine several of my core interests: robotics, biology, and the desire to make a positive impact.

The project is currently a work in progress. To explore the full development journey so far, feel free to visit the project page..
